1. Remove the small plastic insulation when the battery is inserted into the flashlight.
2. Charge the battery for 3-4 hours first. The charger indicator will flash red and green or just red when the battery is charging. The charger indicator will turn green when the battery is fully charged.
3. Insert the battery into the flashlight. Insert the positive pole (cathode) into the flashlight first, meaning let the negative pole (anode) make contact with the tail cap.
4. Put on the tail cap. Lightly press the button to turn on the flashlight.
5. Lightly press the button to change modes. This lamp has 5 modes (Bright-Medium-Dark-Strobe-SOS).
6. Zoom the head to change the shape of the light.
