Installation Instructions:
Always replace both lift supports to ensure top performance and to prevent twisting caused by uneven loading.

1.Disconnecting: If the old lift support has an electrical window connection, carefully disconnect the fittings.
2. Before removing old lift supports, examine all provided attachments to determine which components need to be reused.
3. Have someone hold the hatch, hood, trunk or rear window open while replacing the lift supports.
4. Pry off fasteners, remove 1 end while being ready to fight pressure in strut, move end so it's away from body, remove other end, install that end of new 1, fight other end into place, and tighten up.
5. Ensure all connectors and hardware are in place, snug and secure. Reconnect electrical terminals to both ends of the gas lift support, if applicable for your car. Retain plastic end caps, if applicable for your car.
